Wells of Joy

In the fall of 2002 Hosea and Debbie Bilyeu recruited additional teachers, two musicians and a physician to join them on a new mission. They had accepted an invitation to lead a week long summit of missionaries from throughout Western South America.

The mission to Chosica, Peru had the team overwhelmed with the sincere desire of the missionaries to be motivated and ministered to.  For some it had been years since they had experienced corporate worship in their native tongue. The burden was solidified for those families that had "left all they had" to follow the Lord in service to a foreign land.

Returning from this mission, Hosea & Debbie chartered Wells of Joy to help fund and coordinate mission endeavors to encourage the body of Christ and to address the feelings of isolation and emotional fatigue that every Christian faces. These feelings are only intensified in a foreign environment, whether domestic or overseas.

Similar events have been coordinated and teams taken to encourage and equip believers in Guatemala, Mexico, Zambia, Honduras, Ecuador and Nicaragua.

Merchandise sales and donations are the primary fund generating mechanisms for this ministry.
